Do you use AI for copywriting?
We may use AI to support copy workflows, such as structuring ideas, reviewing clarity, exploring alternatives or speeding up internal drafting. However, final copy is shaped, edited and checked by our team. For tone of voice, brand messaging and website copy, the important work is understanding your audience, your positioning and the way your organisation should sound. AI can support the process, but it cannot replace that judgement.
Do you use AI for research?
We may use AI to help organise research, summarise information, explore questions or speed up early-stage thinking. We treat it as a support tool, not a source of truth. Important decisions are still based on our own judgement, client input, project context and proper review. AI can help us move faster, but it does not replace critical thinking or client collaboration.
Does AI make creative work cheaper?
AI can sometimes help improve efficiency, but it does not remove the need for strategy, creative judgement, design craft, project management, quality control or production. The value of creative work is not just the time it takes to make something. It is the thinking, decision-making and experience behind it. We use tools where they help, but we do not use AI as a shortcut that lowers the standard of the final work.
Can you design a website for a consultancy or professional services business?
Yes. We can design websites for consultancies, professional services firms and B2B organisations. These often need clear service pages, sector pages, case studies, insight content, lead-generation journeys and a brand presence that builds trust quickly.
Can you design prospectuses, reports and printed materials?
Yes. We can design prospectuses, impact reports, newsletters, service guides, event materials, posters, leaflets, handouts and campaign materials. We can also help with proofreading, print-ready artwork and print sourcing where needed.
Can you work in phases?
Yes. Many projects can be phased.
For larger websites, Laravel platforms, brand and digital projects or ongoing campaigns, it can make sense to split the work into clear stages. That might mean starting with strategy, then moving into design, development, launch and ongoing improvements. Phasing helps manage budget, decision-making and delivery, especially when a project has lots of moving parts.
Can you work to a fixed budget?
Yes, where the scope can be shaped around that budget. If you have a fixed budget, we can help define what is realistic, what should be prioritised and what could be phased later. Sometimes that means focusing on the most valuable parts first, such as a clear website, a practical brand refresh or the essential campaign assets.
We would rather shape the right scope properly than promise everything and compromise the result.
Do you use AI in your creative work?
We use AI as a support tool within our workflow, but not as a replacement for original creative thinking, design craft or human judgement.
That means we may use AI to help with research, administration, idea organisation, workflow efficiency, troubleshooting, technical support or internal planning. We do not use generative AI to produce final artwork, brand identities or client creative assets unless it has been openly discussed and agreed as part of the project.
Do you use generative AI to create artwork?
No, we do not use generative AI to produce final artwork as standard. Our design, branding, illustration, animation and production work is created by our team using professional creative processes and tools. We may use AI to support thinking, research, admin or workflow improvements, but the final creative output is developed, refined and artworked by human designers.
If AI-generated imagery or content was ever appropriate for a specific project, we would discuss that with you first.
How long does a website project take?
Website timings depend on size, complexity, content and technical requirements. A typical WordPress website often takes around 12 weeks from planning to launch. Smaller projects can sometimes move faster, while larger websites, Laravel platforms or projects with complex content, integrations or functionality can take anywhere from six weeks to nine months.
The more complex the structure, content and functionality, the more important it is to plan properly.
How long does branding take?
Branding projects typically take around six weeks, depending on the size and scope.
A focused logo or visual identity project may be quicker, while a full branding project involving strategy, messaging, naming, tone of voice, visual identity and guidelines may take longer. The timing also depends on feedback, decision-making and how many brand applications need to be developed.
How long does brochure design take?
Brochure timings depend on the length, content, design complexity and approval process.
A smaller brochure may take a couple of weeks, while a larger report, prospectus, catalogue or editorial document can take longer, especially if copywriting, proofreading, image sourcing, print artwork or print production are included. We can quote brochure design based on the number of pages, content readiness and level of design required.
How long does logo design take?
Logo design usually takes around six weeks when it is part of a considered identity process. That gives enough time for exploration, concept development, refinement and final file preparation. If the logo needs to sit within a wider visual identity or brand system, the project may take longer. A good logo should not be rushed, because it needs to work across digital, print, social, signage and all the places your brand appears.
How much does a brand refresh cost?
A brand refresh depends on how much of the existing identity needs to change. A lighter refresh might focus on refining the logo, colours, typography and key visual assets. A more substantial refresh may include messaging, tone of voice, brand guidelines, digital identity, social templates and website alignment.
We usually quote brand refreshes based on the level of change required, because the right approach might be anything from a focused polish to a much broader repositioning project.
How much does a website cost?
Website costs depend on the size, platform, content, functionality and level of design required.
As a guide, WordPress websites typically start from around £3,000, with larger or more involved WordPress projects often ranging up to £10,000–£12,000. More complex Laravel and Statamic platforms usually start from around £6,500, and can increase significantly depending on functionality, integrations, page count, user portals, dashboards, content structure and technical requirements.
We always scope website projects properly before quoting, so the cost reflects what the website actually needs to do.
How much does a WordPress website cost?
A WordPress website typically starts from around £3,000.
For larger WordPress builds, more advanced content structures, additional page templates, integrations, WooCommerce functionality or a more involved design process, projects can range up to around £10,000–£12,000.
WordPress is often a strong option for businesses and organisations that need a clear, manageable website with a familiar CMS and good long-term control.
How much does branding cost?
Branding projects usually start from around £2,500 and can range up to £10,000+, depending on the size and structure of the project. A smaller branding project might include logo design, visual identity and basic guidelines. A larger project could include brand strategy, messaging, naming, tone of voice, visual identity, brand architecture, campaign direction, design systems and more detailed rollout support.
The cost depends on how much thinking, creative development and practical brand application is needed.
How much does graphic design cost?
Graphic design is usually charged based on the time required. We work from an hourly rate and can track time in five-minute increments, which makes smaller updates, artwork changes and production tasks fair and transparent. For larger graphic design projects, we can also provide a fixed quote based on the agreed scope.
This means we can support everything from quick artwork amendments to larger brochures, campaign assets, signage, packaging, reports and ongoing design support.
How much does logo design cost?
Logo design typically starts from around £750. The final cost depends on how much exploration, refinement and supporting identity work is needed. A simple logo project may focus on creating a strong mark and core files, while a larger identity project may include secondary marks, colour palettes, typography, usage guidance and a broader visual system.
If you need more than a logo, we may recommend a visual identity or branding project instead.
Is WordPress a good option for schools, charities and community organisations?
Yes. WordPress can be a strong option for schools, charities and community organisations that need a clear, manageable website. It works well for pages, news, events, resources, policies, forms and content updates, especially when it is planned with good structure and reusable sections.
Is our confidential information safe if you use AI?
We treat client confidentiality seriously.
We do not use sensitive, confidential or commercially private client information in public AI tools without permission. Where AI is used internally, it is for general support such as workflow, admin, troubleshooting or non-sensitive drafting. If a project ever required a more specific AI-related workflow, we would discuss the risks, permissions and boundaries with you first.
Can you help choose between Shopify and WooCommerce?
Yes. Shopify is often a strong choice for dedicated online stores that need reliable e-commerce tools and room to scale. WooCommerce can be a good fit when you already use WordPress or want content and commerce in one familiar platform. We can help choose the route that fits how you sell.
Can you create animated social media content?
Yes. We can create animated posts, reels graphics, story assets, campaign loops, paid social ads, launch content and platform-ready motion for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and X. We can work from existing brand assets or create a new visual direction for the campaign.
Can you help roll out campaign assets across lots of formats?
Yes. We support campaign rollout across print, digital, social, display, email, signage, landing pages and production artwork. We can resize assets, create variations, prepare print-ready files, produce ad suites and keep everything consistent.
